I really should do this all of the time
My mind works slowly, I plan each sound
It can be quite a challenge, as I have found.
I start with a picture; I start with a vision
Then I add words with careful precision.
Sometimes I'm funny and I'll make you laugh
(or at least you'll pretend, on my behalf).
Other times I'm more serious, I make you think
Or I'll make you blush 'till your cheeks are pink.
My writing prowess is one of a kind
It comes up to surprise you, as you will find.
